Driver crashes pickup, but smells terrific

LAKELAND, Fla. (WWSB) - A 22-year-old man driving near Lakeland Monday morning learned a valuable lesson: While personal grooming habits are important, you should keep your eyes on the road.The Florida Highway Patrol said the man was driving a GMC pickup on State Road 570 at about 7 a.m. While negotiating a curve, the driver also was applying deodorant. Troopers say he hit a crash barrier and came to rest on top a concrete barrier wall. The driver was not injured; no other vehicles were involved, investigators said.
