A Montecito home on the 500 block of Picacho Lane caught fire Monday afternoon Fire crews were called to a chimney fire that broke out at the residence, according to Christina Atchison, public information officer. Firefighters found “very heavy smoke” coming from the chimney upon arrival, Atchison said. The fire had also extended into the home’s walls and into the second-story attic.
