9 arrested during DUI saturation patrol in Manatee County

MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) - Nine impaired drivers were arrested Friday by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit during a DUI saturation patrol.Deputies said two additional drivers were also tested for driving under the influence during the operation.In addition to the DUI arrests, deputies filed eight misdemeanor charges, issued 45 citations and 22 warnings, and wrote one criminal traffic summons.The next saturation patrol is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 20.
